How It All Works
JJ Barrs is pleased to say she is working along side Therapy Dog Training UK as a trusted trainer and assessor.

To Become a Therapy Dog Guardian you will need to complete L1 & L2 online workshops with Therapy Dog Training UK, we can support you with your training requirements when you work with us in one of our specific therapy dogs live training programs for groups and individuals. Then when you feel your dog is ready and roughly around 18months of age you will have a temperament and training needs assessment and then be able to book your official Therapy dog final assessment.

Currently offered on Thursdays or Fridays.
Both online Therapy Dog training UK theory & practical workshops are packed with best practice information and resources for both you and your dog to deliver a visiting therapy dog service, whether you are a teacher or healthcare/well-being professional offering an independent paid for service or you plan to volunteer for a pet therapy organisation.
